St. Martin’s Cathedral

Bratislava’s three-nave Gothic cathedral is built on the site of a previous, Romanesque church, dedicated to the Holy Saviour, from 1221. After 1291, when Bratislava was given the privileges of a town, the church was rebuilt to become part of the city walls (its tower served as a defensive bastion). The present church was consecrated in 1452.

Bratislava Castle

Visit to the outside of the Castle, in addition to contemplating the beauty of the building, we highlight the very well maintained Baroque Garden. On the eastern terrace of the palace you can find reconstructed remains of the Great- Moravian basilica and other buildings from this era (11th century). And we enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of Bratislava from different points of the castle.

Main Square

The central point in old town Bratislava, the Main Square, has been the hub of the town for centuries. It is surrounded by landmarks, including Kutscherfeldov Palace, Pawera House, Ungerov Dom, the Maximillian Fountain, and the Old Town Hall building (was built in 1599 and is the oldest in the country). Additionally, many restaurants, cafes, and bars keep the area bustling.

Hviezdoslav Square

As with most cities in Europe, Bratislava revolves around large squares like Hviezdoslav Square. It's a beautiful place to stroll, with memorials to national figures (like the statue of Pavol Hviezdoslav, which gives the square its name) and historical monuments (like the Cloister of Notre Dame Cathedral and the Slovak National Theater). You can also find the German and American embassy buildings, along with several popular hotels.

UFO Lookout Tower

A unique observation deck on the pylons of the SNP Bridge at a height of 95 metres with amazing views of the city and visibility of up to 100 km.

Old Bridge

Starý most (Old Bridge) is one of three bridges connecting the center of Bratislava with the neighborhood of Petržalka on the right bank of the river. It also offers one of the best views of the Danube and amazing sunset!

Blue Church

The St. Elizabeth’s church built in the Art Nouveau style at the beginning of the 20th century is remarkable for the blue colour of its façade made with attention to detail with often use of mosaic. It is a popular place for weddings and baptisms.

Presidential Garden

Count Grassalkovich ordered the building of the Summer Palace after 1760. The cour d’honneur abutted the Palace from the south side, closed by the railings and an axially designed garden from the northern side, known as Grassalkovich Garden, behind today’s Presidential Palace.
